The Mentor Method today announced its founder, Janice Omadeke, will take the company’s innovative, game-changing service to join entrepreneurs from around the world in MIT’s Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
The MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is a program connecting entrepreneurs from around the world to the entrepreneurial ecosystem surrounding the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The bootcamp is a 3-month mentorship program that begins with a one-week, intensive, in-person training in Seoul, South Korea. This is a highly selective program for highly motivated students. At the last Bootcamp, MIT selected 61 out of more than 800 applicants.
The Mentor Method is reimagining the mentor/protégée dynamic to address the urgent need for genuine, simpatico mentor relationships. “If you can find new shoes, new friends and a significant other online, meeting a mentor that will inspire and empower should be just as accessible.” says founder, Janice Omadeke. The Mentor Method is passionate about building our future business leaders.
“61% of millennial women say they want to be the boss someday. And I want to do everything possible to support those aspirations”, says Omadeke. Through their website and mobile app, The Mentor Method will connect entry-level and mid-career women hungry to create their future with respected, experienced female mentors eager to leave a legacy of future business leaders through sharing their knowledge. “I’m passionate about empowering women in business, especially our future business leaders. I’m thrilled and humbled for this opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, learn from experts I greatly respect, and further develop The Mentor Method.”
